The Obligation to Declare the Shipment in the Floating Policy

Abstract

This article examines the duty of disclosure of each shipment under a floating (open) insurance policy. It clarifies why accurate declaration is essential to define the insured subject-matter, calculate the premium, and avoid disputes at the time of claim.
