Abstract
This address underlines the growing complexity of modern life and the rise of risks (accidents, disability, illness and old age), arguing that insurance is essential for protecting people and supporting economic activity. It recalls key features of the development of insurance in Morocco and calls for updated legal rules and modern regulation to strengthen the sector’s economic and social role.
