Abstract
This comparative study examines hull and cargo policy wordings and the main coverage options offered by the marine insurance market. It identifies the specificities of maritime risks, reviews covered events, exclusions and warranties, and discusses how different combinations of clauses allocate responsibilities between insurer and insured. The paper also considers the adaptability of policy forms to the Moroccan market and maritime trade needs.
