Abstract
The article revisits the notion of the insurance contract through the lens of Muslim law, reviewing key doctrinal debates and the conditions under which insurance may be considered acceptable. It proposes conceptual clarifications to reduce confusion between legal-religious prescriptions and practical insurance arrangements.
