Abstract
This paper discusses the legal nature of the Supreme Council and maps its jurisdictional powers within Morocco’s judicial architecture. It clarifies how higher courts are structured in comparative perspective and explains the Council’s core missions: ensuring uniform interpretation of law, reviewing judgments on points of legality, and handling specific disputes linked to administrative action and conflicts of jurisdiction. The author highlights the institutional value of stable jurisprudence for legal security and public trust, and notes procedural issues that arise when separating questions of law from questions of fact. Overall, the article presents the Supreme Council as a central mechanism for coherence in adjudication.
