Abstract
The land question in urban areas has come to occupy an important place in the human environment due to its impact on individual behavior. As a result of high demographic growth, intense rural migration, and consequent multiplied urban growth, the land question now arises in its holistic human dimension. It is not limited to the legal land system and its relationship with the individual or family occupying it, but extends to the broader framework of city dwellers' lives in their social and psychological reality. The urban land question involves multiple variables requiring the combined efforts of legal experts, economists, financiers, architects, sociologists, and psychologists. Public authorities must play a guiding and participatory role using their intervention capacities.
