Abstract
This article studies the origins, institutional structures, and objectives of the Cooperation Council of the Arab Gulf States. It situates the creation of the Council within the regional context of the early 1980s, marked by security concerns, political alliances, and the need for economic and strategic coordination among Gulf states. The article analyzes the Council as a regional organization designed to strengthen cooperation, solidarity, and collective action.
