Abstract

This article studies the banking system in the Arab world, with attention to the evolution, structures, and functions of Arab banks. It examines their role in mobilizing savings, financing development, and supporting economic activity. The article also situates Arab banking within broader debates on financial modernization, regional cooperation, and the needs of developing economies.
