Abstract
This article analyzes the critical factors shaping North-South relations from a long-term socio-ecological perspective. Rather than focusing only on the diplomatic details of the North-South Dialogue or the Brandt Commission, the paper situates international development debates within broader ecological constraints, economic interdependence, and long-term social trends. It considers how resource use, demographic change, technological development, and the reinforcement potential of nations may influence future global development strategies.
