An Attempt to Define a Socio-Economic Typology of Urban Centers

Abstract

This article proposes a method for classifying Moroccan urban centers according to socio-economic criteria. Using statistical indicators and analytical tools, it seeks to identify different types of urban centers and to understand how demographic, economic, and social variables shape patterns of urbanization and regional development.
