Abstract
This article reports on a symposium organized by the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Casablanca. It highlights the scholarly importance of studying Casablanca’s urban, social, and economic history, with particular attention to the city’s development, foreign presence, and transformations within Moroccan society.
