Abstract
This article asks whether Moroccan environmental legislation is at a turning point. It recalls the growing awareness of environmental protection and the legal need to preserve quality of life, nature, and ecological balance. The article reviews the accumulation of legal texts concerning environmental protection in Morocco and points to their limits, fragmentation, and frequent ineffectiveness. It argues for a clearer and more coherent legal framework capable of addressing pollution and environmental degradation.
