Abstract

Denise Brahimi approaches travel from a point of view through which she sees it as a means of liberation and emancipation, a source of hope that can sometimes turn to the opposite, an aspiration to embrace vast and far-reaching horizons, a revolution against stability and conservatism and against existing structures that are bound to the dominant apostate against all noble human, social and political values. In short, it is the general cultural act that leads us to embrace the humanitarian in ourselves and in the universe, and to the liberation of body, soul, values and thought.
