Shakespeare and Heideggerian Ecology
Abstract
An ecological reading of Shakespeare’s As You Like It in the light of Martin Heidegger’s concept of “dwelling”. A concept that the German philosopher introduces in his later writings to counter the anthropocentrism of post-Enlightenment thought.
