Abstract
To achieve a full awareness of the self, and to overcome ‘writing stagnation’ in terms of form and content in post-colonial Morocco, the issue of writing has become questionable. There has been a break with the previous writings and the introduction of a new ‘’literary genre’’ with the Moroccan Francophone Edmond Amran El Maleh. This kind of writing vacillates between the writer’s rejection to limit himself to any given literary genre and the obvious presence of aspects of a group of literary genres that are similar and present at the same time in one text. This has made Edmond Amran El Maleh, at the intersection of literary Genres.
