Abstract

The paper presents some key issues put forward in Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Biographia Literaria (1817). The paper also aims to show, and review, the extent to which the Biographia echoes Coleridge’s intent relative to such topics as poetry, literary criticism and philosophy. Likewise, the paper briefly illuminates some narrative techniques that Coleridge has called for while composing the different chapters constituting the oeuvre.
