Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze the concept of intentionality through the history of philosophy, based on the thesis of the Brazilian researcher Candida Jaci De Sousa Melo, entitled “The Role of Intentionality in Conceptual Thinking”, defended in 2006 at the Université du Québec at Montréal.
