Abstract
This article deals with few contemporary situations in the history of Morocco, based on two Algerian travel accounts: The first by Hamza Bokousha in the late 1940s and the second by Abu Qasim Saadullah in the early 1970s. This contribution puts us in the context of travel, highlighting its motivations, its journey, the major issues addressed, and revealing the cultural, political, social and economic aspects in Morocco under the French Protectorate and after Independence.
