Abstract
Said Yaqtine explores the shift in narrative theory from the structuralist era to the present day. He examines how linguistics and structuralism transformed the approach to narration by focusing on forms and structures rather than just themes. The article traces the transition from mono-disciplinary classical narrative analysis to a multi-disciplinary, post-classical approach that encompasses semiotics and cognitive sciences, reflecting the diverse manifestations of narration in modern human experience.
