Abstract

This contribution is based on research into fifteen Tamazight stories collected from the Ayt Khebbach in the Tafilalt region of south-east Morocco between 2002 and 2010. The aim is to give an overview of some elements of Tamazight production, to describe very briefly the corpus of tales studied and to analyse some key categories concerning the Amazigh women of the Ayt Khebbach, in order to understand the structure of the meaning of the stories. Finally, an examination of the content of the tales will lead us to conclude with a reflection on the changes and innovations in the symbology, the social imaginary and the dynamics of Amazigh women in some oral texts from the Ayt Khebbach (south-east Morocco).
