Article Title
The status of the preposition between "full" and "empty" semantics
Abstract
Studies on the preposition within the different linguistic theories reveal a great divergence of perspective. Two main positions emerge from this debate. The first approach refuses to assign a semantic value to this entity and focuses on its exclusive grammatical role. The second standpoint, which is more centered on the enunciative function of language, attributes a semantic content and a function to the preposition discarding the idea of considering it a simple connector.
