Abstract
Our objective in this article is to examine the behavior, in Moroccan Arabic, of a specific class of operator verbs: those possessing the ability to introduce a complement clause and which may appear either in a direct construction or in an indirect construction. The study highlights the syntactic properties of these verbs and the constraints governing the choice between the two constructions.
