Abstract
Numerous expressions relating to time underline the intentional character of man for grasping and controlling this phenomenon. However, despite the multiplicity and heterogeneity of these attempts, this notion remains as complex, diverse and often insufficiently defined. Moroccan Arabic offers two types of words of time: those characterized by their semantic uniqueness and others, on the other hand, which enjoy a semantic extension that goes from the most precise, from the most determined to the least determined. The purpose of this analysis is to highlight the impact of the human dimension in the semantic interpretation of linguistic expressions of time in Moroccan Arabic.
