Proverbs are part of a community that grants them a symbolic wealth on which is based its values and interests. This kind of oral literature is a cultural testimony representing the memory and the identity of people who created them. Thus, a review of the corpus of Moroccan proverbs reveals that women have held a prominent place in this kind of oral literature. She is presented as she is rooted in the memory of Moroccan people.
