Abstract
The violence is a subject that concerns psychologists, sociologists, lawyers, educators and anthropologists. It also interests linguists and psycholinguists. First of all, the violence is a linguistic sign, a speech act that expresses an emotional attitude. It is a kind of conflicting interpersonal communication relating two or several persons in an antagonist and conflicting context. In this article, we will try to treat some psycholinguistic aspects of the violent speech. We will show how violent voice is phonetically produced. We will extract physiological factors and acoustical-physical parameters of violent vocalization. We will also show how violent voice reflects aggressive feels and hostile emotions.
