Abstract
Rather than a simple presentation of results, this article offers a reflective and intimate account of my research journey on the digital integration of Moroccan immigrants in Canada. Rooted in personal experience, the study explores the behind-the-scenes aspects of the thesis: the challenges of conducting fieldwork entirely remotely, questions about my own position as a Moroccan researcher studying my peers, and the constant adaptations this required. The text testifies to how this intellectual journey was also a human adventure, one that profoundly nourished my thinking and influenced my own life plans.
