Abstract
This study argues that Qur’anic interpretation has sometimes been diverted toward external polemics and imported frameworks, creating confusion. It calls for renewing Qur’anic scholarship by refocusing on the Qur’an’s meanings and strengthening intellectual heritage through a rigorous, self-grounded critical approach.
